Cinderella Prince Charming Animation Drawing Sequence of 2 (Walt Disney, 1950). This lot features a beautiful sequence of two 12 field 3-peghole animation drawings from the award-winning film that saved Disney from bankruptcy, Cinderella. Production art from this film is difficult to find, and this sequence captures Prince Charming's barely contained boredom perfectly as he bows, waiting for someone special just as much as Cinderella is. The prince was primarily animated by Disney Legends Eric Larson and Milt Kahl and remains a hard-to-find character in production art. He is full figure and centered on the page, rendered in amazing detail with graphite and color pencil. The sequence can be found at about the 49:14 mark of the film, shortly before Cinderella makes her grand entrance, and both measure approximately 2.25'' x 5.75''. The animation drawings are noted as 99 and 103 in the lower right and are in Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear and light age-related toning.Auction Info
