Antonio Prohias MAD Magazine Cover Concept Original Art (EC, c. 1960s). Spy vs. Spy creator Antonio Prohias pitches a cover design featuring Alfred E. Neuman grinning from a trash-can globe, a twisted take on the world as seen through MAD's famously absurd lens. The face of Alfred E. Neuman, MAD's traditional mascot, is a printed paste-up. Graphite and collage effect on layout paper with an image area of 14" x 16.75". Initialed by Prohias in the lower right corner.
