Description
Gary Shipman - Batman Illustration Original Art (2007). Batman, an expert at brooding from elevated locations, perches skillfully along a high wire, his silhouette cloaked in shadow as he waits to spring into action. The illustration is accented by splatter effects in black and white paint, adding detail and texture to the piece. Rendered in ink, marker, and white paint on the back of an 11" x 17" poster advertising Volume 4 of the graphic novel series Pakkins' Land, which Gary Shipman co-created and provided scripting and art for. Presents with creasing throughout and handling wear. Signed and dated in the lower right. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
