Description

Irv Novick and Frank McLaughlin The Flash #227 Story Page 5 Original Art (DC, 1974). Divert your attention to the four photo corners and you'll notice this issue has the clever gimmick of making it appear like you're reading a scrapbook. But not just any scrapbook -- this one is curated by none other than Captain Boomerang's proud papa, boldly predicting the Flash's demise! This page, featuring Captain Boomerang making his daring escape and Barry Allen vanishing in a flash, was masterfully created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Discolored tape on edges, slight toning, minor smudging, and whiteout touch-ups. In Excellent condition.
From the Irv Novick Family Collection.
