Al Jaffee's Tall Tales revolutionized comic strips with its innovative vertical format, standing out from traditional horizontal designs. Published in over 100 newspapers, the strip emphasized clever visual humor over dialogue. Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 2.75" x 10.25". Initialed by Jaffee in the bottom right corner. Discolored stat logo paste-up, note taped to the top image area, whiteout corrections, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
