Harold Knerr The Katzenjammer Kids Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-20-47 (King Features Syndicate, 1947). Harold Knerr's use of slapstick humor continued the Katzenjammer Kids comic strip tradition established by Rudolph Dirks. This side-splitting episode is jam-packed with enough puns to induce a conniption fit. This Sunday has an ink over graphite on Bristol board image area of approximately 17" x 15", and the art is in Very Good condition, a few text corrections, moderate toning, more pronounced at the edges, and marginal notes.More information about Harold Knerr.
