John Cooper Battle Picture Weekly #631 "Plague of Spiders, Part 3" Story Page 1 Original Art (IPC Magazines, 1987). When Palitoy's Action Force license for G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero shifted from IPC to Marvel UK in 1987, IPC scrambled to plug the gap, and out of that scramble came Storm Force, a new anti-terrorist strike team cut from similar cloth. In the weekly serial "Plague of Spiders", monstrous mutant spiders overrun civilian areas, and this Part 3 opener finds entire locales smothered in web. Ink over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 13" x 17.5". Light toning, discolored stat title paste-up, whiteout corrections/highlights, smudging, art paste-up in lower left corner of Panel 1, slightly discolored text paste-ups, marginal production notes/stamps, marginal pinhole, corner creasing, spot staining, and handling wear.
