Description
The Great Mouse Detective Hiram Flaversham Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1986). The main plot device in this great animated feature is the kidnap of young Olivia Flaversham's inventor father Hiram. Here's Hiram Flaversham in a rare solo hand-painted 16 field production cel. The approximate image size is 4.25" x 6.5". Cel is matted with an opening of 13.5" x 9.5", with an overall mat size of 20" x 16". The mat had at one time been framed with a Masonite backing board; the board includes a Disney Certificate of Authenticity, and is being kept with the matted cel. The cel has been laminated, and there are areas of separation, most notably around Hiram's ear. Good to Very Good condition with minor handling.Auction Info
