Description
Microman: The Little Giant Odin and Edison Production Cel Setup with Production Background and Animation Drawing Group of 20 (Studio Pierrot, 1999). Microman: The Little Giant is a 1999 anime series based on the famous action figure toy line from Takara Co., Ltd. It follows the adventures of a team of micro-sized superheroes who save the world from alien invaders. Presented is a fantastic hand-painted original production setup of four cels featuring Odin and Edison. This incredible piece is displayed on an original production background rendered in gouache on board. The setup measures an overall 14" x 10". In addition, this lot includes approximately 19 original animation drawings from the scene, rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper. If all this wasn't enough, the lot also includes three rare exposure sheets used for photographing the scene. Overall minor handling and edge wear, and the setup has two staples in the upper corners.
