Description
Mickey's Nightmare and Giantland Mickey Mouse and Orphans Pair of Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1932/1933). Featured in this lot is a pair of amazing 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings, one from Mickey's Nightmare and one from Giantland. Both drawings are full figure and rendered in graphite with the first centered on the page. Mickey can be found at about the 4:40 mark of the short after one of the little mice throws a pillowcase stuffed with ceramic shards at him. The second appears at roughly 7:44 as a group of orphan mice listen intently to Mickey's rendition of Jack and the Beanstalk, nearly falling from their seats. The drawings have an approximate image size of about 4'' x 3.75'' and 3.5'' x 5'' combined with the pages noted as 125 and 61 in the lower right. There is a small timing chart on Mickey's drawing. This two-for-one lot is in Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear and light age-related toning.Auction Info
