Description
The Mad Doctor Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). "Pluto!" Mickey calls for his faithful pup Pluto after he has a vivid and disturbing nightmare. His best pal quickly comes to the rescue and brings the whole doghouse with him! This 12 field 2-peghole drawing can be found at about the 6:24 mark of this spooky David Hand-directed short where Mickey is tormented by an insane doctor in a haunted castle who has captured Pluto for his experiments. This heartwarming scene is a wonderful example of the bond that the two share and is rendered in graphite with color pencil highlights, marked for scene 48 with a label of 150 in the lower right corner. The full figures measure about 5.5'' x 3.75''. This delightful animation drawing exhibits minor edge and handling wear, mild age-related toning and faint smudges. There is a small indent, though not on the figures. Good to Very Good condition.Auction Info
