Description

Leonard Starr Little Orphan Annie Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 3 (Tribune Media, 1996). Starr is by nature a more realistic artist than Annie's originator, Harold Gray, and so it is remarkable to catch Starr following Gray's more stylized approach to cartooning. Dates include: 8-9, 8-12, and 8-25 of 1996. Ink over graphite with image areas of 12" x 4". There is light toning along the edges, image stat paste-up corrections in two of the panels of the 8-12 and 8-25 strips, slight adhesive staining, marginal pinholes, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
