Description

Herb Trimpe and Jim Mooney The Spectacular Spider-Man #97 Story Page 4 Original Art (Marvel, 1984). Spidey reflects on recent events, including his relationship with Black Cat and the revelation about the black symbiote costume from Battleworld (acquired during Secret Wars). Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, trimmed top edge and corners, tape abrasions on the top/bottom edges, discolored tape marks in the margins for the included Panel 2 Black Cat ink art on a separate vellum overlay, marginal/editorial notes and whiteout corrections, ink fading, with staining and handling wear. Signed by Mooney in the bottom margin and in Very Good condition.
