Description
Garfield and Friends Garfield and Odie Production Cel (Film Roman, 1992). "Oh no!... Jon's cooking something new! Let's get out of here before it's too late!" Garfield and Odie discover that Jon has invented yet another repulsive recipe. The two pets try to flee, but they are unfortunately too late. In this image, Garfield puts his arm around Odie before he volunteers the unlucky pup to be the first taster of the horrendous dish, a moment which can be found at about the 1:03 mark of the episode. This scene comes from an episode of Garfield and Friends entitled "The Creature that Lived in the Refrigerator Behind the Mayonnaise, Next to the Ketchup and to the Left of the Cole Slaw!" Yes, that's the real episode name, and it's quite a mouthful! This original, hand-painted 12 field production cel features an image of the two pets that measures about 3.75" x 4.25". The cel is marked in its lower right corner with D63, and it has been placed atop a color print background from the show. This piece is in Very Good to Fine condition, with minor handling and edge wear.From the Jim Davis Collection.
