Frank Thorne Dr. Guy Bennett Daily Comic Strips Original Art dated Group of 4 (Lafave Newspaper Features, 1959-62). This short-lived dramatic series features some of Frank Thorne's best artwork, at once realistic and simplified, in a style reminiscent of Alex Toth. These four dailies are dated 12-17-59, 5-8-62, 8-4-62, and 8-9-62. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 19.5" x 6". Boards are lightly toned with moderate edge wear and handling. Pinholes in corners. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
