Description
A Garfield Christmas Special Garfield and Grandma Production Cel Setup (Film Roman, 1987). "Well, of course, to make it through this whole life, you have to be a little crazy. Why, just look at me! I talk to cats!" In this sweet scene from the 1987 A Garfield Christmas Special, Garfield spends some quality time with Grandma. In this special, Garfield, Jon, and Odie go to Jon's family farm to spend the Christmas. Garfield is initially reluctant, but he begins to learn the value in spending time with family and friends through this trip. The setup is composed of two original, hand-painted 12 field production cels which have been placed atop a color print background from the special for presentation. The cels can be found at about the 10:45 mark of the special. These cels are labeled in their lower right corners with 3A and G-3. This cute piece is in Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, as well as some minor debris.From the Jim Davis Collection.
