Dave Sim Cerebus In Hell #84 "Narutobus #1" Story Page 10 Original Art (Aardvark-Vanaheim, 2024). Finally we get to the actual "baby throwing" of the infamous "Baby throwing" story! Dave Sim's Naruto parody, another Black from the Future and his second Manga/glamourpuss mash-up, this time featuring the K.K.K. (the other one... the Kosplay Kangaroo Kourt) holding Cerebus to account for "The Baby Throwing Pages" (Cerebus #66 reprinted in Church & State Vol.1 Pages 295-296), the 11 panels of which Sim recreated in this story in his early 1980s style. Sim is mailing Heritage Auctions the pages as he completes them with the instructions to auction each page individually. So we have no idea how far "off-the-rails" this story will be going, and Sim says he doesn't know either! "The 'Loosen Up' thing is really what this is all about," he reports, "as I alternate a Narutobus page with a 'Strange Death of Alex Raymond' page... ...and then back again. So far, it's working really well!" About the only thing Sim hasn't been accused of is being Way Too Predictable. So join him and bid on this, his latest Magical Mystery Trip!The page is due to be published in 2024. It was created in ink over blue pencil and graphite on bright white Bristol board with an image area of 9.5" x 14". Signed and dated 10-10-2023 in the top right margin. In Excellent condition.
