Description

Irv Novick and Vince Colletta The Joker: The Bronze Age Omnibus "99 and 99/100% Dead!" Story Page 12 Original Art (DC, 2019). Joker silences a songbird with her own supersonic scream in this page featuring Black Canary and the Clown Prince of Crime from the long-lost 10th issue of the 1975 series The Joker. Intended to be the first chapter in a three-part Justice League arc, The Joker #10, written by Martin Pasko and illustrated by Irv Novick, was shelved when DC decided to conclude the series with Issue #9. The story remained unpublished until 2019, when it finally appeared in print in The Joker: The Bronze Age Omnibus, where it was prominently promoted as one of the collection's key selling points. This page from the nearly forgotten story "99 and 99/100% Dead!" was crafted in ink over graphite on National Periodical Publications Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". The page shows light toning, small spot stains, whiteout corrections, smudging, and handling wear. Overall, it is in Very Good condition.
