Description
Leo Durañona Creepy #120 "Deathwatch" Story Pages Original Art Group of 2 (Warren, 1980). Poor Mildred Franks has been a long-term resident of Ward Seven, where Death himself keeps her on his evening schedule, but never quite checks her out. She's not ready to make that final appointment, no matter how patient her visitor. Includes Story Pages 1 and 3 from the eight-page story. The pages feature an approximate 10.5" x 15" image area and are constructed from multiple layers. The base is art paper, with Page 1 including a photostat in Panel 2 with white paint highlights, while Page 3 features printed screentone and additional areas of white paint. An acetate overlay containing the inked artwork is affixed along the top margin and secured with production tape around the image area. A second vinyl overlay, bearing the text paste-ups, is also taped to the top margin. Toning, whiteout touch-ups, blue pencil editorial marks, and handling wear.
