Description

John Byrne Superman & Batman: Generations II #1 Story Page 27 Original Art (DC, 2001). Jim Gordon, presumed dead by misadventure, has appeared at Wayne mansion with the confession that he's always known Bruce was Batman and a warning about R'as al Ghul! The second of three Elseworlds series by Byrne was a passion project for him, expanding his literal timeline into one cohesive, if slightly bonkers, continuous story. Note Byrne's technique of scratching the board to create a cross-hatch with the black lines. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning and handling and wear in the margins, graphite smudges, and whiteout touchups. Signed by Byrne in the bottom margin. In Excellent condition.
