Description

Tim Boxell The Vapid Ventures of Vladimir Vlesh and Other Underground Comic Strips Original Art Group of 3 (Krupp, 1970s). Before he established himself as a prominent filmmaker/animator, Boxell proved essential to the Underground Comix movement. This matched set of alternative-newspaper comic strips (two signed in assumed names, but all recognizably in that distinctive Boxell style) concerns a weird time-travel adventure and a most peculiar invention. Brilliant and provocative stuff, here. Ink over graphite on illustration board, with an image area of 15" x 4.5". Overall, in Excellent condition.
