Tex Blaisdell Little Orphan Annie Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-27-71 (New York News Inc., 1971). The last panel of this daily offers a quintessential image of Annie, her dog Sandy, and her benefactor Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks. Blaisdell would keep the style and attitude of originator Harold Gray (1894-1968) going well into the 1970s. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area measuring 19.75" x 6". There is mild toning, marginal pinholes and soiling, edge and corner wear, and moderate creasing. In Very Good condition.
