Description

Hal Stone Frankincense and Murder Book Illustration Original Art (1961). Baynard Kendrick's blind amateur detective, Duncan Maclain, was a popular amateur sleuth series that was serialized in newspapers and later collected into mystery novels and published in book form. This illustration was designated for the second installment of Frankincense and Murder, the final Duncan Maclain novel. Produced in Ink and Conte crayon over graphite on heavy illustration board with an image area of 10" x 8.5". Board is lightly toned with handling and scuffing across entire surface. In Very Good condition.
