Description
The Autograph Hound Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). Donald finds himself on ice in this original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing. This Jack King-directed short was filled to the brim with cartoon images of Hollywood celebrities like Harpo Marx, Mickey Rooney, Clark Gable, and Greta Garbo; in this scene, found at the 3:32 mark, Donald is about to meet skating sensation Sonja Henie. The art is in graphite with a green pencil shadow outline; overall image size is approximately 3.5" x 3.75", and noted as C33 in the lower right corner.
