Chuck Jones The Dover Boys Dan Backslide Drawing (Warner Brothers, 2000). The villainous Dan Backslide strikes a formidable pose in drawing by Chuck Jones. This drawing was created by Jones in the development of the 2000 limited edition print The Dover Boys. This piece, however, is not limited edition - it is one-of-a-kind! The full title to the outrageously funny 1942 Chuck Jones-directed cartoon upon which this drawing was based is The Dover Boys at Pimento University, or The Rivals of Roquefort Hall. This drawing is created with graphite on 12 field animation paper, and it comes with a Linda Jones Letter of Authenticity. The condition of this great piece is Very Good, with just minor edge wear and handling and a few small smudges.Auction Info
