Description
Fred Fredericks Mandrake the Magician Consecutive Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 7 (King Features Syndicate, 1974). Mandrake and Lothar drop in on the elusive "Bug Man," mastermind of bee-assisted bank heists, only to find he's already buzzed off. This consecutive run of dailies spans 5-10 to 5-17, missing only the 5/12 Sunday strip. Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 15" x 4.5". The 5-11 strip is comprised of two boards taped together on the back. Light toning, discolored screentone and production tape, blue pencil editorial marks, adhesive residue staining, corrective abrasions, smudging/soiling, and light handling wear.
