Description
Princess Sarah Sarah Crewe and Becky Production Cel Setup with Custom Painted Background (Nippon Animation, 1985). Debuting in 1969 the Japanese TV program World Masterpiece Theater showcased animated versions of classic stories such as: Tom Sawyer, Little Women, and Anne of Green Gables, among many others. Princess Sarah, based on the 1905 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, tells the story of Sarah Crewe, as she displays a strong spirit, kindness, and perseverance despite the hard situations she is faced with. In this lot we have a very tender scene with Sarah and her good friend Becky, measuring an image size of about 9.5" x 6.75". The setup is presented taped to a custom painted background. The cels show some handling wear from production. Condition is Good.Auction Info
