Description
The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle Rocky Production Cel Signed by June Foray and Others (Jay Ward, 1959). "Hokey Smokes!" Rocket J. Squirrel stops his high-flying adventures long enough to do a commercial for Jets Cereal, in this original 12 field animation drawing. Making this an extra-special item are the three signatures under Rocky: series co-creator/artist Bill Hurtz, writer Chris Jenkins, plus the voice of Rocky, the First Lady of Animation June Foray (1917 - 2017); the signatures were done at a 1990s Chicago animation lecture where the three were guest speakers. There's a bit of old cel paint from storage next to a cel, and some slight contact discoloration on Rocky's body, which has an approximate image size of 4" wide (including his red penciled hand). There's a coffee stain in the upper right corner, away from the image. Overall condition is Good with some handling and edge wear.More information about Jay Ward Studios.
