Robert Webb and David Hearnes Pioneer West Romances #3 Firehair Story Page 6 Original Art (Fiction House, 1950). Jack and Helen's stagecoach overturns and Helen drags an injured Jack to a bear cave as Mr. Rodney has plans for Jack Brill and Firehair on this page from "Siren of the Silver Sage". An unusual entry in the series, this issue comes from the brief period when the title shifted from Firehair Comics to Pioneer West Romances (#3-7), even as Firehair remained the fiery centerpiece before the book returned to its original title with Issue #8. Twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.25" x 18". Toning, smudging/soiling, blunted corners, burn on the bottom edge, whiteout corrections, blue pencil editorial note, staining, corner/edge creasing, and moderate handling wear.
