Description

Heavy Metal Robot and Gloria Production Cel and Gloria Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Columbia, 1981). This lot includes two stunning production cels (one 20'' and the other 16 field) and one 20'' 5-peghole production drawing of Gloria and The Robot from the "So Beautiful, So Dangerous" section of Heavy Metal. The section follows Gloria after she and the soon-to-be deceased Dr. Anrak get pulled in by the alien ship. The Robot is the reason for this, having convinced the pilot and co-pilot to take them after developing feelings for Gloria. They can be found at about 54:43 (The Robot) and 54:51 (Gloria). The figure of Gloria on the cel and animation drawing measure about 5'' x 1'' while The Robot measures about 5.75'' x 5''. The drawing is labeled 334. Some handling and edge wear on all. This includes tape residue, paint smudges on the edges, and slight curling on the cels. Three tears on Gloria's cel with fold in top left and uneven edge. Two small tears on the edge of the animation drawing, tape residue on the bottom border, light age-related toning, superficial wrinkles, a faint fold line, and three reinforced pegholes. Good to Very Good condition.
