John Severin Star Spangled War Stories #65 Story Page 2 Original Art (DC, 1958). A gritty foxhole specialist faces his first recon under fire, relying on speed and instinct to survive. John Severin delivers tight storytelling and expressive draftsmanship that capture the grit of combat in this scene from "Foxhole Fever". Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 19" (including the stat paste-up header). Toned, blue pencil editorial marks, stat art paste-up in Panel 6, corner bumps, whiteout text corrections, adhesive residue, and handling/edge wear.
