Description
The Black Cauldron Horned King and Cauldron-Born Storyboards Group (Walt Disney, 1985). "Arise, my messengers of death!" The Black Cauldron's evil power has been unleashed by the dreaded Horned King, and swirling from the mists are the Cauldron-born army of undead warriors, in this incredible sequence of six original studio-used storyboards. The art is by David Jonas (1926 - 2014), who also worked on such Ralph Bakshi films as Wizards and Lord of the Rings. The art is in a combination of graphite, color pencils, and ink/black marker, with two storyboards appearing to be hand-embellished Xerox prints. The art is on paper, with approximate sizes ranging from 9" to 12" wide, and 5" tall. The drawings are mounted 2-up on sheets of heavyweight black paper measuring 14" x 11". Condition is Very Good, with minor handling wear.Auction Info
