Description
101 Dalmatians Roger, Horace, and Jasper Production Cel Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1961). This cool group features three of the characters from the 1961 Walt Disney feature film 101 Dalmatians. First, we have a wonderful full-figure image of Roger, one of the Dalmatians' owners, as he smokes his pipe. The image measures about 3" x 5.25" on 16 field acetate. The cel is marked in its lower right corner with 111, and it is displayed atop a color print background. Next up is a fantastic full-figure shot of Horace, one of Cruella de Vil's henchmen. Horace measures 4.5" x 5.25" with a frightened expression on the 16 field acetate. This cel does not have a production number on its lower edge, meaning that this may have been a Color Model cel. The final piece is a full-figure image of the scheming Jasper, Cruella's other henchman. Jasper measures 5.25" x 6" on 16 field acetate, which is marked in its lower right corner with 21. The cel is displayed atop a color print background from the film. All three pieces are matted, with a matboard aperture of 11" x 8", 11" x 8.5", and 11" x 8.5". The mats each measure a total 18" x 14". The first two cels are in Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, and a few tiny spots of paint separation. Jasper's cel is in Fair condition, with handling and edge wear, as well as paint cracking, separation, and some paint loss.Auction Info
