Mike Royer Tarzan #196 Story Page 7 Original Art (Gold Key/Western Publ., 1970). Jungle man Tarzan arrives just in time to rescue his protègés, Doc and Dick (alias the Tarzan Twins), from a horde of bloodthirsty warriors. Confident early solo work from Royer, who would soon become a favorite inker of the great Jack Kirby. Ink on Bristol board. Image area, 12.25" x 17.75". Excellent condition with light toning and handling wear.
