Description
Wendel Pugh Fenster Sitzen Underground Comic Strips Original Art Group of 12 (Krupp Comic Works, 1970s). Pugh's serialized Fenster Sitzen offers a day-by-day serving of Theatre of the Absurd humor, as presented in the Underground newspapers and alternative-tabloid publications of the hippie-type variety. Ink over graphite on illustration boards and three Bristol boards, with approximate image areas of 15" x 4.5." Slight to mild toning, with a musty smell, adhesive residue staining, blue pencil notations, whiteout corrections/highlights, missing title and credits paste-ups, and minor corner/handling wear.
