Ed Dodd Back Home Again Daily Comics Panel Original Art Group of 6 (United Feature Syndicate, 1938-39). An unusual reader-participation gimmick (published on 10-11-38) distinguishes this generous sampling of folksy humor from Dodd's pre-Mark Trail cartoons, Back Home Again. The invitation to take part involves a contest to "send your suggestion" to determine a name for a new mascot for the feature. The strips included are dated 4-1-38, 4-28-38, 7-9-38, 7-27-38, 10-11-38, and 10-29-38. Light/moderate age-toning. Average Very Good condition.From the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.
