Jon Dahlstrom Pix #v2#9 Double Page Illustration Original Art (Knight Pub., 1968). Here is a double-page spread from that bastion of libertine values, Pix magazine. The story by John G. Hill, "Wednesday Night Session," advocates for letting one's husband go to his weekly poker game so that adultery can commence at home. Nice values. This spread was created in ink wash on paper with an image area of 17" x 11", affixed to illustration board for production purposes. That board is moderately toned with handling and wear in margins and corners. Rubylith overlay held in place with production tape. Title and text block pasteup on a separate sheet of tracing paper.
