Description

Pinocchio "Little Wooden Boy" Geppetto, Pinocchio, and Figaro Limited Edition Fine Art Giclée Print Signed by Toby Bluth #22/95 (Walt Disney, 2008). "Well, we'll leave it to little woodenhead. Do you like it? (Geppetto makes the puppet nod) That settles it! Pinocchio it is!" Presented here is a sentimental, limited edition Fine Art giclée titled "Little Wooden Boy" created from a Toby Bluth (1940 - 2013) original watercolor painting of a Key Scene from Disney's second animated classic, Pinocchio. Toby was younger brother to the iconic animator and director Don Bluth, and also a long-time animator, background artist, and production designer himself. Additionally, he was an "approved" Disney Studio artist for their Fine Art Program. This wonderful 14" x 10.25" image features the newly named but not-yet-living Pinocchio being puppeteered by his creator Geppetto as Figaro the cat trots alongside them. This rare piece, which has been sold out for 15 years, is printed on 14" x 11" deckled edge acid free Somerset Rag Paper. Signed by both Toby and Dickie Jones, the voice of Pinocchio, and hand-numbered 22 of 95 in blue ink along the lower edge. It comes paired with a Certificate of Authenticity and a 5" x 7" photoprint of Jones as well. With minimal handling this piece is in Fine condition.
