Description
Marc Swayze - Mary Marvel Painting Original Art (1996-1999). Marc Swayze is the artist who co-created Mary Marvel (with writer Otto Binder) in 1942. This lovely piece show her at her cherubic and joyous youth. She appears to be about 10 years old, slightly younger even than she appeared in her first appearance in Captain Marvel Adventures #18. It's a charming piece created in acrylic over graphite on bright white 15" x 22" illustration board. Signed in the lower right. There is a hand-written and signed note on the back from Marc Swayze as well. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
