Billy Tan and Danny Miki The Uncanny X-Men #481 "Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire" Story Page 8 Original Art (Marvel, 2007). The Shi'ar High Council nearly blasts one of its own jumpships when it attempts to dock without prior authorization-until its two pilots announce that they have a gift for the Vice-Chancellor: a captive Professor Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men and former lover of the deposed Shi'ar Empress, Lilandra Neramani! This page from the seventh chapter of the yearlong "Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire" epic was rendered in ink with white paint over graphite on a Marvel Bristol board with a 10.25" x 15.5" image area.
