Description
Mike Grell and Vince Colletta All-New Collectors' Edition #C-55 Legion of Super-Heroes Story Page 55 Original Art (DC, 1978). Superboy, Cosmic Boy, Shadow Lass, Brainiac-5, Phantom Girl, Light Lass, Element Lad, Wildfire, Ultra Boy, and Shrinking Violet all appear on this page. That's 10 heroes on a single page and Mike Grell keeps it from being a "talking heads" page or looking crowded at all. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.75" x 14.75". Panel 1 was statted, and changed with a paste-up, and some stripped-in text. The stats are toned, and the background paper is discolored with glue residue in Panel 1.
