Chester Gould - Dick Tracy Christmas Card Illustration Original Art and Print (1933). For the 1933 edition of a long-running holiday card tradition, Dick Tracy is joined by "The Kid" (aka Dick Tracy Jr.) and his lady love Tess Trueheart in wishing readers a "Merry X-Mas," alongside holiday greetings from the Gould family -- Edna, Jean, and Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould. Rendered in ink on paper measuring 9" x 6.5". The paper is toned, with residue stains on the reverse that have seeped slightly into the front image area. Includes a 1:1 print of the card art on blue paper. The print is in Excellent condition; the original art is in Very Good condition.
