Description

Neville Colvin Modesty Blaise #5165 Daily Comic Strip Original Art (London Evening Standard, 1981). Modesty proves anything but modest when she swipes the swimming instructor's clothes and finds they're a perfect fit, slipping into them behind the rocks a hundred yards away in this cheeky episode from "Garvin's Travels". The British strip, known for pushing boundaries, faced its own battles with censorship when exported to the U.S., just like its daring heroine. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 18.75" x 5.5". Toning, minor smudging/soiling, green sticker in lower margin, whiteout touch-ups, minor corner creasing, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
