Description
Bob Engle Addams Family Cartoon Kit Colorforms Playset Box Cover Painting Original Art and Production Materials Group of 6 (Colorforms Brand, LLC, 1965). They may be creepy and kooky, and altogether ooky. But they stick like magic in this vintage Colorforms playset! Included is the cover painting by Bob Engle, the original art background, three illustration boards of the Colorforms shapes for this set, a press proof of the printed cover (with suggested corrections), and a copy of the published set itself! The original art painting was created in opaque watercolor over graphite on 13" x 12" illustration board, and signed in the lower left edge. The background piece is ink and ink wash on 19.75" x 15" illustration board, with an acetate cover lay with graphite shading on it. The forms shapes are created in marker on onionskin paper affixed to illustration board. The press proof measures 17.5" x 23" (including sidebar notes). The original painting is in Excellent condition, everything else is in Very Good condition. (Also includes various and sundry production materials.)More Information: EDIT: Original Art has been removed from the frame.
