Atomic Comics #1 Mile High pedigree (Green Publishing Co., 1946) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages. DC wasn't pleased! Not only did this title rip off the Detective Comics #8 cover for its first issue, it also enticed Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster to contribute a story. This is the Mile High copy, so the condition isn't a surprise; to date CGC has certified a higher grade to just one other copy of #1. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $1,775. CGC census 3/06: 3 in 9.4, 1 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
