Kotaro Kita/KENTOO Bumpy Trot Illustration Original Art. Bumpy Trot, known as Steambot Chronicles outside of Japan, is a Playstation 2 action role-playing game that was published in 2005 by Irem Software Engineering. The game follows protagonist Vanilla, who has amnesia after an accident, on his quest to rediscover his memories. By his side is Coriander, the lead vocalist of the band Garland Globetrotters. Offered here is an original illustration of these two characters, done by KENTOO, also known as Kotaro Kita. Kita is a former Irem artist who is known for his work on Bumpy Trot, R-Type Delta, and R-Type Final. They are credited as game designer for Bumpy Trot, as well as illustrator for Blokus Club with Bumpy Trot, another PS2 game. This illustration is on a shikishi, or art board, and features Kita's signature at the bottom. The board measures 9.5" x 10.75" with an overall condition of Excellent.Auction Info
