Description

Pokémon Chinese Unlimited Base Set Uncut Sheet (Wizards of the Coast, 1999) Rare, Holo. Pokémon was first introduced in Japan during the mid-1990s, and it quickly turned into a global phenomenon! Wizards of the Coast, which was already distributing a highly popular card game known as Magic: The Gathering, was able to get the licensing to start distributing Pokémon internationally in 1999. The uncut sheet offered here is from the Chinese Unlimited Base Set. The set was the first to be produced by WOTC. Did we mention that the sheet features only holographic cards, including Charizard? Well, it does! The sheet includes 7 copies of each of the following cards: #s 1-3, 4 (Charizard), 5-7, and 9-16. The only holographic card missing is #8 Machamp. A total of 110 cards are on the sheet laid out in 11 rows of 10. The sheet measures approximately 25.75" x 39" inside a 30.625" x 44.25" frame. The colors on the sheet are slightly faded. It appears to be in Very Good condition. Note that the frame has a horizontal scratch between the first cards in the second and third rows. The frame is sold as-is.
