Adventure Comics #76 Rockford pedigree (DC, 1942) CGC FN+ 6.5 Cream to off-white pages. A mere two copies of this issue have been certified with higher grades to date. That seems to be a trend with Simon and Kirby books, their stuff was just too exciting to file away without reading it! S&K drew the interior feature starring the Sandman and Sandy, and they didn't stop there, adding a Manhunter story for good measure. Other heroes in the issue include Starman (Jack Burnley art), Hourman (Bernard Baily art), and the Shining Knight. Comes with the Rockford certificate of authenticity. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $555; VF 8.0 value = $1,156. CGC census 3/06: 2 in 6.5, 2 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
