Harvest Moon - Wata 9.0 A+ Sealed [Made in Japan], SNES Natsume 1997 USA. Only one copy is rated higher on Wata's August pop report out of just five total graded. Not only is this the first game in the Harvest Moon series, it is also the very first video game that centered heavily around the farming simulation aspect. Fans of subsequently created games that play on this series have Harvest Moon to thank for coining the idea that an RPG farming game could be fun (and also very cute). While this introduction to the series did experience moderate success in its time, its true claim to fame is measured by the cult following it inspired. Sealed copies of this game are rare at best, and the number of copies currently known to the collecting community are few. The offered copy is certainly beautiful! The light indention across the bottom of the front cover does little to detract from its excellent display quality.PSA Population Report
