Arthur Rackham The Zankiwank and the Bletcher Witch Page 19 Preliminary Illustration Original Art (Alpine House EC, 1896). Known for being one of the leading literary figures during the Golden Age of British book illustration, Arthur Rackham's illustrations have been paired with the literary classics such as Rip Van Winkle, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and more. Offered is a preliminary sketch for a page in S.J. Adair Fitzgerald's The Zankiwank and the Bletcher Witch. Created in graphite on paper with an image area of image 8" x 9.5" mat 14" x 15". There is an ink sketch on back, wear and small tears around the edges, overall toning, foxing spots throughout, adhesive residue on the top margin, and the art is taped to mat on left edge.
